My nickname comes from my name, Fernando. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I was born in 78. I'm currently studying and working. I have a big passion for cinema (see the list of films I've seen below), some tv series and rock music in general. In this blog I write mainly about my useless thoughts, likes and dislikes and my pathetic life. Nothing very interesting, really!

On the mail

Look what I've got on the mail yesterday:

Helloween DVD

The show itself is amazing. Despite the changes in the band's formation in the past 3 or 4 years, they haven't los their 'touch'. In fact, they seem a lot happier on stage now. Andi is singing better than ever, don't know what he did to improve his skills, but he's indeed much better (technically speaking), because in terms of carisma, he still has lots of it and he has the entire crowd on the palm of his hand for the entire show.

As for the 'Roadie Movie', well, I found it a bit childish sometimes. Specially the parts where the guys were trying to be too funny, or at least funnier than normal, it seemed a bit forced. But the parts which they were interested in document their trip were really interesting. The interview is also great, they don't talk about the obvious things and it was very nice to see Andi talking about how tough it has been for him to live in Michael Kiske's shadow for all those years. This is the type of honesty the fans like and that's why I've always liked him. Andi Deris rocks! So does Helloween! The DVD is highly recommended! My rate: Concert 5/5 Extras 4/5
